About pictured Antique: This is a Antique RARE fabulous 1279 Simon & Halbig 20Character Doll with cute dimples. She has a very distinct and different face. The detail to her character face is striking. Again she is 20inches tall and marked on back of head S & H 1279 DEP Germany 8 1/2. There is some glue residue in the incised wording on back of head. She was made in 1909. She has smooth creamy bisque with no cracks or hairlines. Her coloring is excellent and the detail to her nose and big dimples is stunning. She has a very different look and a plus to any ones collection. She has blue sleep eyes , that work perfectly, and have been re-set. Her painted eyelashes around her eyes are perfect, including her feathered eyebrows , and pierced ears, with a normal tiny chip in the left pierced ear. Her rose shaded lips are outlined and beautiful. She has 4 upper porcelain teeth and dimples. Her antique pate and antique long dark blonde wig fits her perfectly. Her wood jointed and composition body is in excellent condition with tips of toes repainted. Her hands and fingers are very nice with only some small paint wear on tips of fingers on right hand. Her white pantaloons, slip and dress are antique. The dress is a pale green with lace, and a matching bonnet. Her shoes are antique brown leather with white socks.
