CHINA/PARIAN DOLLS: Porcelain reproduction of an antique doll. Pictured is the antique doll This beautiful little 14" Kling 1860's Parian lady has an elaborate blond center parted Grecian style hairdo with wavy rolled curls above her forehead, pulled back and upswept curls in back held with 3 hair bands. She has a classic profile, bright blue painted eyes, delicately painted mouth with peaked upper bows, blushed cheeks and pierced ears. The plate has an impressed "14" in back. She has Parian lower arms and spoon shaped hands. Her Parian lower legs end in wonderful pale green boots with heels, black ornaments with 2 tassels in front and saw tooth molded designs at the top. She has pink garters and white stockings. The legs are impressed with a "3". Her limbs are period and in good condition. She is on a dark brown linen body which looks original. She wears a lovely vintage Fashion costume of Champagne color linen with a woven floral design. It is trimmed with narrow moss green ribbon bands and lace. The jacket is lined, fitted at the waist and flares out over the hips and buttocks. It has lace at the neck and bottom of the jacket. Green velvet bands go around the wrists. There are 3 round silk floss decorative buttons hiding the 4 hook & eye closures. The skirt has a straight front panel edged with narrow green velvet ribbon and lace. The same trim circles the sides and back of the skirt above the hem. The bottom of the skirt is faced with gold linen and is longer in back. She has a fashion petticoat and a very pretty camisole that buttons at the shoulders. Her fitted pantaloons have lace at the leg ends and feather stitching above. It is beautifully crafted and all hand stitched.

  • SFGW 3-6 weeks minimum from date of payment.  Porcelain is fired to cone 6. NOTE: Seams are NOT removed before soft firing.
    Bisque parts is minimum 4-8 weeks from date of payment.
    Painted requires minimum 6-12 weeks to complete from date of payment. Not assembled only painted.
    All dolls by modern artists and dolls of color are poured in French Bisque. Antique dolls are poured in Lady White. NOTE: Dolls are poured with parts as pictured. 
    Customer is responsible for any shipping, handling & insurance. Any breakage that occurs during shipping must be reported via email the day you receive the package along with a photo of the packaging and damaged item for insurance purposes.
